His body was taken to the Roland funeral home at Corning where it was reported that funeral arrangements have not been completed.∼Creston News Advertiser March 18, 1954 Page 3 WILLIAM TAHA William Taha was born February 10, 1890 in Adair County, Iowa, the son of Jacob and Anna Taha. He passed away Thursday, February 11, 1954 in the Creston hospital at the age of 64 years and one day. He had been in ill health for the past fourteen months. He was united in marriage to Margaret Scanlan October 13, 1919 at Creston, Iowa. They made their home in Adams County until about a year ago when they moved to Creston. Besides his wife Margaret, he is survived by three children, Ann Law of Des Moines, Burdette of Port Chicago, California, and Robert Dean stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. One child died in infancy. Five grandchildren survive; David, Danny, and Mary Jane Law and Donnie and Lee Taha. He is also survived by four brothers and two sisters. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed his many friends and relatives who so devotedly helped him pass the time during his illness. Services were held at the Roland Funeral Home in Corning, Saturday, February 13, with Rev. Wayne Sheffel officiating. Interment was at the Bohemian National cemetery near Williamson.
