Description	:	Edward John "Ed" Bosak, 94, of Fullerton joined our Lord on June 21, 2012. He was residing at the Golden Living Center in Fullerton at the time of his death. Edward was born May 26, 1918, in Fullerton to Frank and Helen (Knopik) Bosak. Ed was the 4th of 10 children. Edward was born May 26, 1918, in Fullerton to Frank and Helen (Knopik) Bosak. Ed was the 4th of 10 children. Ed is survived by loving children, sons, Mike (Cherole) Bosak of Fullerton and Larry (Barbara) Bosak of Grand Island; daughters, Kathy (Leonard) Dubas of Palmer and Kris Nave of Scottsdale, Ariz., daughters-in-law, Nancy (Pat) Bosak of Overland Park, Kan. and Janice (David) Bosak of Fullerton. He will also be remembered by his wonderful grandchildren, Michelle Kunze, Bryan Dubas, Stacy Smith, Sarah Howard, Chelsea Manning, Curtis Bosak, Alissa Sapp, Jim Bosak, Samantha Borges, and David and Patrick O'Dea. He also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren that he adored, Amber, Autumn, and Sienna Kunze, Tori and Cheyenne Ostrander and Dana Dubas, Michaella Norman, and Emma Smith, Brooklyn, and Hayden Manning and Emily and Hunter Borges. He was also blessed with one great-great-grandson, Erik Norman. Ed is also survived by his loving companion of many years, Elva Church of Clarks, and one brother, Wally (Buzz) Bosak of Genoa, a sister-in-law, Patricia Bosak of Seward and a brother-in-law, Orville Crawford of Omaha. Ed was preceded in death by: parents, wife, Mary Bosak, sons, Danny, David and Patrick Bosak, granddaughter, Amanda Bosak, four brothers and four sisters. Ed was born and raised in Fullerton, graduating from Fullerton High School in 1937. After graduation, he attended the Lincoln School of Commerce where he met his future wife, Mary Downing, whom he married June 8, 1944, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He served in the US Army from 1940 to 1945. Ed took over Bosak Blacksmith shop from his father, Frank in 1948. Ed's son David then took over the shop when Ed retired. Upon David's death, Ed's grandson, Bryan Dubas took over the shop thus continuing the Bosak tradition. Ed was a lifelong member of St Peter's Catholic Church, serving as a parish council member and a member of the Holy Name Society. He served as the Fire Chief and also two terms on the City Council. He was a member of the Eagles Club, past Commander of American Legion Post 151, and was honor guard for parades and funerals for several years. Ed was President of the Nebraska Blacksmith Welders and Machinists Association. He was a lifelong member of the Fullerton Alumni Association, and the alumni banquet was something he looked forward to every year. Ed's passions were golf, gardening, cards, reading and his friends and family. He was still golfing in his 93 year of life, and he also loved dancing to a good polka.
