Survivors include his sons, Jesse Florang and his wife, Ashli, of Omaha and Reese Florang of Overland Park, Kan.; his parents of Riverdale; sister, Pam Florang of Omaha; and special friend, Edna Florang of Kearney. He was baptized Dec. 14, 1952, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Amherst, and he was confirmed May 29, 1966, at Zion Lutheran Church in Kearney. He graduated from Amherst High School in 1970. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry.
