Description	:	Edward Peter Feider, 87, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Tri-State Memorial Hospital at Clarkston, of causes related to respiratory failure. He was born to Anthony and Elizabeth Feider Feb. 16, 1915, in Pomeroy. He was the fifth of nine boys. He attended school at Pomeroy and later attended trade school in Spokane. He worked in Pomeroy for the State Highway Department for 25 years, retiring in 1970 as head lead man. He married Dorothy May MacNeil June 25, 1941, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Pomeroy. He worked in Pomeroy for the State Highway Department for 25 years, retiring in 1970 as head lead man. He married Dorothy May MacNeil June 25, 1941, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Pomeroy. They celebrated 61 wonderful years together. Throughout his life he loved to work in his garden, taking care of his small farm and fishing with his family on the Tucannon. He and his wife Dorothy operated Dorothy's Antiques for 24 years, closing the business in 2000. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Northwest Antique Dealers. Ed is survived by his wife Dorothy at their home; two sons, a daughter, two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers. A rosary will be recited today at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Pomeroy. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Tri-State Hospital Foundation. Lewiston Tribune May 24, 2002
