He was 83 years old at death. The remarkability of Captain Edward's endurance is marked by him living thirteen days absolutely without either food or water. Funeral services were held at the home place on last Saturday, Rev. E. H. Dashiell officiating. Interment was in Asbury Cemetery. Captain Edward is survived by a widow, who outlived two other husbands besides the last. Mrs. W. E. Muir of Crisfield is the only child that survives.
