He was born December 1, 1927, in Gypsum, the son of Bert and Dorris Hawthorne Hesher. He was an Accountant/Business Manager for the State of Kansas. He moved from Topeka to Larned in 1952. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, Larned and was also an avid collector, attending many garage sales, auctions and flea markets. On April 20, 1952, he married Patricia L. He was born December 1, 1927, in Gypsum, the son of Bert and Dorris Hawthorne Hesher. He was an Accountant/Business Manager for the State of Kansas. He moved from Topeka to Larned in 1952. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, Larned and was also an avid collector, attending many garage sales, auctions and flea markets. On April 20, 1952, he married Patricia L. Turpin in Kansas City, Missouri. She survives. Other survivors include: three sons, Edward H. Hesher, Amarillo, Texas, T. Thomas Hesher, Larned, Micheal W. Hesher, Estes Park, Colorado; a daughter, Sandra H. Chelcun, Estes Park, Colorado; a brother, Billy Bert Hesher (Geneva), Port Orange, Florida; a sister, Sibyl Netherton, Titusville, Florida; a granddaughter, Talisha Hesher, Hays. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dixie Bogart and two brother-in-laws, Ralph (Smoky) Bogart, and Robert L. Netherton Sr. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Larned EMS (lift assist) in care of Beckwith Mortuary, Box 477 Larned, KS 67550. Memorial service was held on January 10, 2015 in Larned, Kansas.
