Mr. Yecha was born in Winifred, Montana., on January 25, 1917. He attended grade school there and was graduated from the Lewistown high school in 1935 and from the Northwest Bible and Music Academy in 1942. On June 11, 1942, he was married to Clara Gladys Vik, to which union was born one son, David. From 1942 to 1944, Rev. Yecha was pastor of the Church of God in Harlowton and employed as a teacher in the Northwest Bible and Music Academy in Minot during the 1944-45 term. In October 1945 he and his family moved to Canada where they remained for three and a half years, teaching in the International Bible college, conducting Church of God Broadcasts and serving part time as pastor of the Church of God in Moose Jaw, Sask., Can. He and his family moved to Minot in 1949 where he was employed on the staff of the Northwest Bible and Music Academy. He continued in this position until his death in the automobile accident on April 13 near Webster, Ia. Besides his widow and son, Mr. Yecha is survived by his father, James Yecha, and mother, Mrs. Frances Yecha, of Lewistown; two brothers, Victor and Stanley of Bozeman; two sisters, Mrs. Cavanaugh of Belgrade and Mrs. Pruett of Raton, N.
