Description	:	Edwin E. Ludwig, one of the well known citizens of Windfall and of Tipton county, died at the family home in Windfall Tuesday morning. Death was due to a complication of ailments from which he had been suffering two years or more and which had kept him confined to his home the greater part of the time. On account of meager telephone service between Tipton and Windfall, relatives and friends in Tipton did not know that Mr. Ludwig's illness had assumed a more serious nature, until word was received of his death. Death was due to a complication of ailments from which he had been suffering two years or more and which had kept him confined to his home the greater part of the time. On account of meager telephone service between Tipton and Windfall, relatives and friends in Tipton did not know that Mr. Ludwig's illness had assumed a more serious nature, until word was received of his death. Mr. Ludwig's death makes the third death in the Ludwig family since Dec. 25, when Ben Ludwig, a brother, died in Tipton on that date. A sister, Mrs. Mary Niersthimer, of Newport, Ky., died Jan. 4, and Mr. Ludwig died Tuesday morning. The deceased, who was 69 years old last September, was born in Cincinnati and was the son of Charles and Catherine Margaret (Klippel) Ludwig, natives of Germany. His marriage to Miss Martha McCarty, of Tipton county, took place in the early 1880's. He is survived by the widow and four sons and two daughters, and they are; Charles, Elmer, Earl, Arthur Mrs. Lena Arnold and Mrs. Gertrude Ramsey. A daughter Edith died several years ago. He is also survived by one brother Albert Ludwig, who resides near Brookville.
