Read More	Mrs. Mary Margaret Ludwig, widow of Edwin E. Ludwig, (whose death occurred January 28, 1930, at his home near Windfall )died Saturday in Anderson, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Arnold. Death of this splendid woman was caused by pneumonia, following an illness of two years from acute neuritis which brought on heart trouble. Several days ago she contracted pneumonia and since Thursday had been in a stupor with no hope of recovery. Funeral services for this lifelong resident of Tipton county, with the exception of time spent with her children since the death of her husband, are to be held at the Methodist church in Windfall Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. W. E. Hamilton, of Forest, in charge and burial will be beside the husband in Brookside cemetery at Windfall. Mrs. Ludwig was born in the Sandbank community, August 13, 1864, being one of several children born to Mr. and Mrs. John McCarty. One brother, B. B. McCarty is surviving and lives in Nebraska. She married Edwin E. Ludwig at the age of 18 and she and her husband spent all of their life on a farm, 17 years ago locating on a farm near Windfall where the husband died. Of the seven children born to this couple, five are living, Mrs. William Arnold of Anderson at whose home she died; Mrs. Gertrude Ramsey of Detroit; Charles of Ohio, who is advance man of a circus now playing in the south; Elmer of the Sharpsville community, and Earl of Lafayette, where is he employed by the Nickel Plate railroad. A son Arthur Ludwig was killed in an accident at his home near Windfall in November 1933, when a team started without warning. And a daughter, Edith died in 1914 of blood poisoning. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
