Mr. Teter was one of the very rugged pioneer family of northern, Mo.; one of eleven children. She was united in marriage to Wm. Teter, March 21, 1897. They had in their home four daughters, three of whom survive the mother's death. The daughter, Helen, passed away Aug. 8, 1925. Mr. Teter was one of the very rugged pioneer family of northern, Mo.; one of eleven children. She was united in marriage to Wm. Teter, March 21, 1897. They had in their home four daughters, three of whom survive the mother's death. The daughter, Helen, passed away Aug. 8, 1925. Mrs. Teter greatly loved her home, it was her castle, here she was queen and ruled in love and was mistress by her sincere devotion to the highest ideals. The local school, the community and church, all were of first concern in her many activities outside of the home. She united with the Upton M.E. church during the pastorate of Rev. Lloyd Tennant, she was baptized and united with her daughter in the church work. With the family she came to Cantril about two years ago, known to so many her home was a center of many happy gatherings. Her illness extended over many months, but up until recently she had been about in her general home duties. She was given the tenderest care by her daughters who were priviledged to be with her. She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Nelson, of Douds; Mrs. Ralph Doud, of Upton, and Mrs. Frank Peyton, of Tucson, Ariz.; and three grand children, Billie Don Peyton, of Tucson, Ariz; and Marjorie and Kathleen Nelson of Douds; also two brothers, Ernest Bull, of Memphis, Mo., and Hosea Bull, of Van Couver, Bristish Columbia, and two sisters, Mrs. James Seaton, of Cantril, and Mrs. Emma Stores, of Brock, Mo. The daughter, Helen, and granddaughter, Laura Lee Peyton, preceded her in death. Her love for her home and her great delight in poetry, its interest to her even making her break into verse of her own at times. She will be greatly missed, not only in Cantril and Upton vicinity, but throughout the wide circle of friends and acquaintances of her husband and family. To have been in the Teter home was to remember the lady of the home. Funeral services were Friday at two-thirty in the afternoon, the Rev. Lloyd Tennant, of Bloomfield, preaching the sermon. Music by a select mixed quartet, Junior Wellborn, John Van Fleet, Mrs. Thressa Price and Mrs. Geneva Jones, with a solo by Mrs. H.E. Millen, of Douds. Interment was in Maple Grove cemetery at Cantril. The pallbearers were: S.H. Daugherity, Wendell Miller, Chan and Buford Bull, Everett Hoskins and Elbert Holman. Her Eastern Starr sisters and brothers of Cantril Chapter No. 437 attended in a body. Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Bull, Mrs. Emma Storer, Mr. and Ms. John Roberts and family, Burford Bull and wife and Chan Bull, of Memphis, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pedrick, Mrs. Homer Millen and Mrs. Julia Daniels, of Douds and Mrs. Jennie Teter, of Moberly, Mo.
