Mister Had Been Ill For Several Months Funeral Services To Be Held Sunday Afternoon One of Lawsonia's well known residents, Mr. Effie Mister, died at her home there Wednesday morning, after an illness of several months, at the age of 65 years. She was the widow of the late George E. Mister and a daughter of the late Seth W. and Mary Sterling. Mrs. Mister was a member of several of lower Somerset's best known families, men and women who have been prominent in social, civic, religious and political circles. She was married and lived her entire life in the house in which she died. A quiet, motherly type of woman, Mrs. Mister was known for her energetic application to her duties, and was esteemed and loved by relatives and friends for the many fine qualities she displayed in her daily life. Her death came as a great shock to all. Her body will repose at her home until Sunday afternoon, when funeral services will be held in the Gospel Tabernacle on Chesapeake Avenue, at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. J. Lewis. Interment will be in Asbury cemetery. She is survived by three sons, George E. and Reynolds D. Mister, of Baltimore, and Loren Mister, of the U.S. Army, stationed in Florida, three daughters, Mrs. Ismer Birch, of Crisfield, Mrs. Beverly Crowson of Salem, Mass., and Mrs. Lyda Ahaesy, of Washington, D.C., and a brother, Mr. Sacker Sterling of Crisfield.
