Silha Funeral Home of Beach has been entrusted with the arrangements. Eileen was born on November 8, 1922 to Alphonse H. and Hilda G. (Mayer) Muller in Rural Rudyard, Montana. She attended Hingham Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1940. Eileen went on to attend Northern Montana College in Havre, Montana and graduated in 1942. She worked there for two years following graduation. Eileen was united in marriage to Fred Buchholz in Havre on November 22, 1942. They moved several times, residing in Fort Benton, Peerless, Antelope, Charlo, Judith Gap, Winifred, Winnett and Fromberg, Montana and Maxbass, North Dakota before settling in Golva, North Dakota in 1975. Eileen worked as a secretary for the Golva School from 1975 until 1987 and was Clerk of the School Board. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. Eileen loved knitting, crocheting and NFL Football. She always had pets, either a dog or a cat to keep her company. In the winter months, Eileen enjoyed going south to spend time with her sons, returning to spend her summers in Beach. Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse and Hilda Muller; her husband, Fred Buchholz; her sons, Tom and Phillip Buchholz; a grandson, Tommy Buchholz; her sisters, Viola Rambo and Clara Lipp and her brother, Dr. John Muller. Eileen is survived by her 3 sons,her brother,thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
