Born June 25, 1936, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carl Thomas and Goldie (Reynolds) Wilder. A graduate of Fairforest High School and Cecil's Business College, she was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the choir and coordinator of the Seniors Group, a member of the Westview PTA, and a former member of the Floyd Mortuary Quartet. Born June 25, 1936, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carl Thomas and Goldie (Reynolds) Wilder. Survivors include her husband Bobby E. Gregory; a daughter, Susan Gregory Merrell and her husband Joe of Campobello; a son, Robert Allen Gregory and his wife Lynn Benfield Gregory of Anderson; five grandchildren, Haley Anissa Powers, Joseph Taylor Merrell, Jr., Madeline Olivia Merrell, Evan Reynolds Gregory, and Allana Lynn Gregory; and a brother, Ned Wilder and his wife Sara of Roebuck. She was predeceased by a brother, Ken Wilder. Graveside services were held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008, at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Raymond A. Hellings. The family received friends at the graveside and at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, 1849 East Blackstock Road, Roebuck, SC 29376.
