Description	:	Eldon "Bud" Eldridge, age 78, of Winner, SD passed away Saturday, August 12, at Rapid City Regional Hospital, after a massive stroke. Bud was born in Gregory County on August 4, 1928 to Charley Eldridge and Christine (Rehwinkel) Eldridge. He attended various rural grade schools and graduated from Winner High School in 1946. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Sedlacek on November 5, 1950. To this union four children were born; Jeannie, Brad, Laurie and Ellen. They made their home on a farm 12 miles east of Winner until 1966 when they moved to Winner.... Bud was born in Gregory County on August 4, 1928 to Charley Eldridge and Christine (Rehwinkel) Eldridge. He attended various rural grade schools and graduated from Winner High School in 1946. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Sedlacek on November 5, 1950. To this union four children were born; Jeannie, Brad, Laurie and Ellen. They made their home on a farm 12 miles east of Winner until 1966 when they moved to Winner. Bud spent his childhood years in bull Creek Township where at a very young age he started helping his father with the field work. This was the foundation for his love and respect of the land which continued all of his life. In his teen years he began his enjoyment of owning, refurbishing and riding various motorcycles. Tinkering on the bike and hanging out with the guys gave him hours of enjoyment and a hobby for many years. His other hobbies included hunting and fishing. Left to mourn him is his wife of 55 years, Bonnie of Winner, SD, four children; Jeannie (Richard) Brickman, Winner, SD, Brad Eldridge, Armour, SD, Laurie (Cameron) Miller, Hermosa, SD and Ellen (Allen) Schwandt of Hamill, SD, five grandsons and one special granddaughter, eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Marion Pearson and Elaine Kunze of Rapid City, SD, a brother Byron Eldridge of Colome, SD, three nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services at Mason Funeral Home in Winner, SD. Burial will held in the Winner Cemetery.
