Description	:	Funeral services were held Friday at the Paetznick Funeral Home for Mrs. Eldora Smith, 83 years, of near Stratford, who passed away at 8:00 a. m., Wednesday, after a short illness, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Deno Erdmann, with whom she made her home for many years. The Rev. L. C. Benson officiated. Several hymns were sung by Robert and Ora Schuelke, accompanied by Mrs. H. W. Iverson. Burial was in Groton cemetery beside her husband. Pall bearers were: A. J. Schuelke, Ernest Pasch, Geo. Riggs, Bertus Comp, Frank Weihrauch and Jack Johnson. To this union four children were born, two having passed away in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death on October 30, 1918. Mrs. Smith was a kind and loving mother and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives. The deceased is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Deno Erdmann, Stratford and Mrs. Herman Kuhrt of Doland; also six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Relatives attending the last rites were: Mr. and Mrs. Earl Fenton and daughter, Dawn, Minneapolis, Minn.; Jake Harold and son, Roy, Brookings; Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Kuhrt and daughter, Faye, Agar; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kuhrt, Doland and Mr. and Mrs. James Duffy and family, Sioux Falls.
