Read More	From an 1897 Nance County, Nebraska, newspaper clipping file, publication date unknown,transcribed by Linda Berney: The sad news was received Saturday from Lincoln that Miss Eleanor Agnew was dead, her death taking place at 2:00 p.m. that day at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lumry. She had been ill for some time, but it was thought that there was a chance for her recovery and her many friends here were anxious and hopeful that Eleanor might be permitted to live, but it was willed otherwise. The body was brought to Fullerton Monday afternoon for burial, and the funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church, Rev. Mastin conducting the services. The church was crowded with friends who came to pay a last tribute to one whom they loved and admired and who deeply sympathize with the sorrowing ones on whom the loss falls so heavily. Eleanor Agnew was born 1867, in Cedar county, Iowa. United with the Presbyterian church when twelve years of age, and when her parents moved to Fullerton in 1884, she became a member of the church here by letter. She was a faithful member, was an earnest and ardent worker in the Sunday school. She was a charter member of the Christian Endeavor society here and was one of its most loyal workers. About five years ago she went to Omaha to live and later she went to Lincoln where she lived until her death.
