Description	:	Eleanor, 99, Culver-Monterey, died at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, with family by her side. She was the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth (Kaiser) Eilerman. On Jul 14, 1945, in North Star, she married Luke Liette, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons: William (Beth), Cincinnati, and Paul, Culver; three daughters: Kathleen "Kitty" (Gary) Davis, Argos, Patricia (Steve) Hankins, Elkhart, and Angela (Loren) Loehmer, Monterey; and twenty-four grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren. On Jul 14, 1945, in North Star, she married Luke Liette, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons: William (Beth), Cincinnati, and Paul, Culver; three daughters: Kathleen "Kitty" (Gary) Davis, Argos, Patricia (Steve) Hankins, Elkhart, and Angela (Loren) Loehmer, Monterey; and twenty-four grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren. Deceased are six brothers; and a sister. She attended the Happy Corner School, New Weston. Ironically, she grew up in the same area, attending the same church as her future husband. After his military service ended her husband returned home and married her. After a flood destroyed their home they relocated to Culver for work. In 1966 tragedy struck. Her husband was killed as the result of an industrial accident. She held the family together and raised her children. She worked at Wagner Industries, Plymouth, as a machine operator, and did housekeeping work around the area. She was a member and Chaplain of the Finney-Shilling VFW Post 6919 Ladies Auxiliary, Culver, for 40 years. She liked to travel, play cards and bingo with friends. She was a faithful member of St.Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church, Culver. A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, with Rev. Jeffrey Largent officiating.
