PRALL RITES TODAY AT FUNERAL CHAPEL "Aged Lamoni Lady Passed After Suffering Severe Heart Attack Monday Afternoon" The Lamoni community was saddened Tuesday when it was made known that Mrs. O. E. Prall, 81, had passed away during the preceding night. About 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, Mrs. Prall was sitting in her chair as usual knitting, when she suffered a severe heart attack. A physician was summoned and she was given every care possible, but the attack was more than she could stand, due to her advanced age, and she passed away at 10 o'clock the same evening. Mr. and Mrs. Prall came to Lamoni 45 years ago last October. They moved here from a farm near West Concord, Minn. Here they raised their family, who all survive. They are as follows: Wilber E., of Lamoni; Charles of Washington, D. C.; Elmer of Mount Vernon, Iowa; and Willard of Lamoni who with the devoted companion, mourn her passing. Mrs. Prall had taken a very active part in community affairs for many years. For several years, she acted as secretary of the Booster Club. She was treasurer of the Patroness Society for many years. She was well known in the [R]LDS church circle having taught a Sunday school class as long as her health permitted. At one time she served as superintendent of the intermediate department of the local Sunday school. As a practical nurse, she was well known, having gone into hundreds of homes throughout the Lamoni territory giving valuable aid to those in need. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the White-Marsh Funeral Chapel, with interment at Rose Hill cemetery.
