Description	:	SLAGLE — Eleanor Slagle, near Drakesville, Ia, died Sept. 29. She was born in Greenbrier County, W. Va., January 27, 1829. In 1840 she moved to Gallia County, Ohio, where she was converted and united with the M. E. Church, of which she remained a devoted member. She married Henry Slagle, Oct. 11, 1849. They came to Iowa in 1855, locating in Wapello County. They lived there until 1867, when they moved to their present home. Sister Slagle was much afflicted during the later years of her life. In these days of suffering she was patient and resigned. She knew, "That if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal...
