The Andringa Funeral Home Sheldon Funeral Service in charge of arrangements for Elenora Jungers. -------- Eleanora “Nori” Isabella Jungers was born on July 17, 1936 in Hospers, Iowa, the daughter of John and Bernadette (Holles) Klein. She lived her youth in rural Hospers on the family farm and attended St. Anthony Catholic School in Hospers. She was united in marriage to George Jungers, Jr. of Alton, Iowa on November 18, 1958 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hospers. They lived in Alton, Iowa. George passed away on June 12, 1959. Nori made her home in Hospers where she worked at St. Anthony Catholic School in the lunch program for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hospers. After moving to Sheldon, Iowa, she attended St. Patrick Catholic Church. While living in Sheldon, Nori was employed at the Fin and Feather in the kitchen for many years. Nori enjoyed her puppy, Cricket, playing Bingo, doing puzzles and spending time with her daughter, Sharon, the grandkids and great-grandkids. She moved to Sanford Sheldon Senior Care Center where she lived for nine years before passing away on Monday, May 6, 2019. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Harvey Koerselman of Sheldon, IA; three grandchildren, Rochelle , Rachel; Jonathan; five sisters, Bernice (Paul) Schwebach, Marge (Larry) Huygens, Geraldine (Wayne) Hardin, Charlotte Watts, Theresa (Larry) Gathman. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Jungers, Jr.; her parents; one brother, Harold Klein; two sisters, Josephine Dittman and Marie Luke.
