Description	:	She was the daughter of Raymond and Lucille Craig. She was a 1935 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was employed by the Wayne County Courthouse, the family owned business as secretary for the Tamworth Swine Association, Kurdy's Chevrolet, and as manager of the Quaker Hill bookstore until her retirement. After retiring, she worked part-time as a cashier at Interstate 70 and IN. 1 Truck Stop, well into her 80's. Eleneida was an avid reader, enjoyed cross-stitching and time with her family. She was known by all who knew her for her cooking, especially for the hundreds... Read More	She was the daughter of Raymond and Lucille Craig. She was a 1935 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was employed by the Wayne County Courthouse, the family owned business as secretary for the Tamworth Swine Association, Kurdy's Chevrolet, and as manager of the Quaker Hill bookstore until her retirement. After retiring, she worked part-time as a cashier at Interstate 70 and IN. 1 Truck Stop, well into her 80's. Eleneida was an avid reader, enjoyed cross-stitching and time with her family. She was known by all who knew her for her cooking, especially for the hundreds of homemade yeast rolls, pies and cakes she has made throughout her lifetime. She was married to Ralph H. Waltz, former State Representative for Wayne County for several years, on July 3, 1944. They were married for 24 years until his death in 1967. They lived on the family farm on Old State Rd. 1 north of Hagerstown, before moving into Hagerstown after her husband's death. She remained in town until failing health prompted a move again to her daughter Kathy's home in Fountain City, IN. She lived with Kathy and her husband Michael who took care of her for nine years before moving into Forest Park Healthcare Campus three months ago. Eleneida was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Ralph Jr., Bill, and Fred. A brother Lloyd Craig and a sister Berniece Craig. A grandchild, two great grandchildren, two daughter-in-laws, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and a nephew. A Memorial Service was held at Culberson Funeral Home in Hagerstown, IN. Rev. Stan Eastman officiated. A private family graveside service held at West Lawn Cemetery in Hagerstown.
