Read More	Eli B Broadwater passed away on friday April 29, 1932 after an illness of four days due to a stroke of paralysis. He was staying at the home of his son Earl, at the time of his death. He was aged 78 years, 11 months, 8 days. His wife Susan (Harman) Broadwater passed away over 5 years ago.Surviving are these children: Clarence M., Of Cumberland, Md; Oscar L. of Frostburg, Md.;Jesse of Jennings, Md.; Mrs. Edward Pritts of Meyersdale; Mrs Sarah Oester, of Somerset; Calvin and Earl of St. Paul Elk Lick Township; and two sisters Mrs. Isabelle Stephen and Mrs. Harrett Blocher, both of New Germany. Md.;also by 25 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He joined the Lutheran Church in early manhood and was a faithful member. He was of a cheerful disposition and was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed no only by his children but by a host of friends as well. The funeral service was conducted on Monday morning May 2, at 10:30 o' clockin the Lutheran Church in Bittinger, Md. by the Rev. S.D. Sigler of Salisbury. The pall-bearers were the grandsons, Victor Ellis, Asa Broadwater, Oney Pritts, Lester Broadwater, and Wilmer Wilson. Interment was in the cemetery adjoining the church. W.C.
