Description	:	Eli Rhodenizer 1942 (Bridgewater Bulletin) The death of Eli Rhodenizer of Midville Branch occurred at his home on Wednesday, August 5th, at 9:30 p.m. The deceased, who was 90 years and nine months of age, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Rhodenizer of Auburndale, Lunenburg County where he was born. For the last fifty years he has resided at Midville Branch. He married Mrs. Minnie Veinot, widow of Joseph Veinot, Newcombville. Read More	Eli Rhodenizer 1942 (Bridgewater Bulletin) The death of Eli Rhodenizer of Midville Branch occurred at his home on Wednesday, August 5th, at 9:30 p.m. The deceased, who was 90 years and nine months of age, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Rhodenizer of Auburndale, Lunenburg County where he was born. For the last fifty years he has resided at Midville Branch. He married Mrs. Minnie Veinot, widow of Joseph Veinot, Newcombville. He was highly respected by all who knew him; of a genial disposition and greeted everyone with a smile. He had been in fairly good health up to the past five months when he was confined to his bed. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. The funeral was held at the home at 2:30 Friday afternoon. Rev. G. Durst, pastor of the Midville parish, assisted by Rev. C.H. Whitteker, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, conducted the services. The text was taken from John 11, verse 14. The hymns sung were "Where He Leads Me I Will Follow," and "Peace, Perfect Peace," favourites of the deceased. The pall-bearers were James Snyder, Charles Snyder, Bernal Snyder, and Otto Cross. The funeral was largely attended and the floral offerings were very beautiful, showing the esteen in which the deceased was held. He leaves to mourn his loss his sorrowing wife, three daughters, (Ida) Mrs. Harold Graves, Andover, Mass.; Mildred, at home; and Mabel, at Bridgewater; and one son, Alvin, at home; three step daughters, (Martha) Mrs.Howard Brouder; (Mary) Mrs. George Vidito, Hudson, Mass.; and (Lyda) Mrs.Chester Morgan, Bridgewater; two step-sons, Walter Veinot of Massachusetts; and Stephen, Midville Branch; one sister, Mrs.Ida Silver of West Northfield; and one brother, Robert Rhodenizer of Auburndale; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
