Description	:	Funeral Mass will be Sat., Aug. 19, for Elinore "Sis" Schnell, 90, Madison, who died on Aug. 15, 2006, at Bethel Lutheran Home. The Rev. Robert Vinslauski will officiate in St. Thomas Catholic Church at Madison, and inurnment will be held later at St. Williams Cemetery in Ramona. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, with the family present at 6 p.m. and a parish scripture service at 7 p.m., all at the Randall Funeral Home. Sis Rensch was born on Aug. 28, 1915, at Ramona to George and Sadie (Fordice) Rensch. She grew up at Ramona, where she graduated from high school in 1933. She married Joe Schnell on Sept. 1, 1936, at Ramona. They farmed together near Ramona before moving into town in 1954. She worked for Dr. Jackson as a nurse aide until they moved into Madison in 1963. She continued to work as a nurse aide at the Madison Clinic. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Madison and a former member of St. Williams Catholic Church in Ramona. Survivors include a daughter, Polly (John) Habeger of Madison; two sons, Jerry (Diane) of Roseville, Calif., and Billy (Sherri) of Sun City, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a sister, Monica (Jim) Cusack of Lancaster, Calif.; a brother, Joyce (Phyllis) Rensch of St. Paul, Minn.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; five brothers; an infant daughter; and her husband, Joe on Sept. 12, 1991.
