Description	:	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, Nov 21, 1924 - Pg 1 Mrs. Elizabeth Long passed from the earth life at the home of her daughter in Hastings at about 8:30 last Sat. evening. The funeral was held here yesterday afternoon in the Presbyterian Church, Rev G. W. Buckner of Hastings officiating. An obituary will appear next week. Mrs. Long's body was laid beside that of her husband in the Edgar Cemetery. =============================================== Edgar Sun Fri, Nov 28, 1924 - Pg 1 Elizabeth Frederick was born on Kill Buck Hill, Wayne Co., Ohio, May 27, 1844 and died on Nov 15, 1924 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. B. Crawford of Hastings, Nebr. at the age of 80 years, 5 months, 18 days. In early girlhood she gave her heart to the Savior. Her parents moved to Huntington Co., Ind. when she was nine years of age. On Feb 17th, 1863, she was married to Andrew J. Long, who preceded her in death on Dec 22, 1891. to this union were born five children - - Henry S. of Fresno, Calif., Willian N. (deceased), Marie S. Crawford, Hastings, George W. and Lucy C. Schmidt both of Edgar. They came to Nebraska in 1872 and she and her husband helped to establish the First Presbyterian Church of Edgar of which she is the last charter member. She leaves to mourn her death, one brother. A. W. Frederick of Huntington, Ind, four children, fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her faith and trust in her Savior was so sweet and strong that it sustained her to the end.
