Miss Eliza French was born at Montezuma, Indiana August 23, 1824 and died at the home of her daughter in old town August 15, 1915, at the advanced age of 90 years 11 months and 23 days. In the year 1845 she was married to Feliz Reynolds of Montezuma. Having been left a widow, on January 15, 1852 she was married to James Brandenburg at Williamsport, Indiana. She is survived by 5 children; Marion Reynolds of State Line, William Brandenburg of Kingman, George Brandenburg of Francesville, Mrs. Henrietta Beamer of West Lebanon, and Mrs. Jane Etnire of Lafayette. The departed was a member of the Christian Church, having united with this church in girlhood. She was a patient sufferer having been sick for over two years. Her children were devoted to her and did all they could to relieve her suffering. After all earthly care failed, the Great Physician, who cures all suffering of the body and soul, called her home. Besides her children she leaves a host of friends to mourn her departure.
