SAMUEL PENICK Eliza M. Fisher was born in Holmes county, Ohio, May 28, 1843, and died near Medora, Iowa at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ben Anderson, on Monday, January 14, 1918, at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 17 days. She was married to Samuel Penick, September 9, 1862. Her husband having preceded her to the better world 3 years ago. To this union were born six children, 3 having preceded her to the Great Beyond. She was converted in her early life and remained an earnest Christian up to her death, expressing her willingness to go. She leaves to mourn her loss three children, Mrs. Kate Howard, Nate Penick and Mrs. Ruby Anderson. Also nineteen grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, two brothers and a host of friends. The funeral was preached at the Norwood U.B. church and burial was in the Norwood cemetery. Rev. E. W. Curtis officiated.
