Read More	ELIZA'S OBITUARY IN THE ALLIANCE PAPER MARCH 28, 2000 Former Homeworth, Ohio resident Eliza Reed died Saturday at the Greens Rehabilitation Center in Lynhurst. She was 88 years old. A native of Homeworth, she lived most of her life in Cleveland. Miss Reed, who was associated with the Positive Safety Manufacturing Company of Cleveland, was nationally known for her work in the field of industrial safety. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Shaker Heights. She also belonged to Cleveland's Zonta Club, a service club of business and professional women, and Zonta International. A graduate of Alliance High School in 1929, she was inducted into the school's roster of Distinguished Graduates in 1969. Surviving is one sister, Pearl Andrie of Alliance. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ida Reed; three sisters, Lillie McBride, Ruth Vasbinder and Thelma Van Pelt; two brothers, George and Larry Reed; and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Moultrie Cemetery.
