Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Henry [Elise Wilhelmina] Rink, 80, were held Wednesday, Feb. 25, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Rev. Arnold Schlueter conducted the services. Interment was made in Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Mrs. Rink suffered a heart attack and died at John McDonald Hospital in Monticello Monday morning. She was born April 15, 1878 at Seillensted, Germany the daughter of Diedrich and Elize Shafer-Dirks. She married Henry J. Rink Aug. 26, 1899 at Wilmshaven, Germany. Mrs. Rink is survived by her husband; 3 sons, Henry Jr. of Monticello, Hermon of Beloit Wisconsin, and Edward of Poplar Grove Ill.; six daughters, Hanna, Mrs. Carl Himebaugh of Monticello; Anna, Mrs. Herman Hubbard of Dubuque; Mary, Mrs. Junior Wilson of Hopkinton; Elizabeth, Mrs. Wesley Wilson of Rockford Ill.; Frieda, Mrs. Ernest Ortgies of Anamosa; and Clara, Mrs. Clarence Bader of Anamosa. Also surviving are 29 grand children; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Eilert Onken of Monticello, Mrs. John Doden of Langworthy, Mrs. Carl Hanken of Wangerooge, Germany; and one brother Will Dirks of Monticello.
