On Sep 30, 1950, she married James H. Sampson, who survives at the residence. Deceased are a son, Michael; three brothers: Bernard, Richard and Edward Frank; and three sisters: Lucille Bayley, Bernadine Isenberger and Gertrude Riploh. She was a 1950 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, after 32 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, where she was a member of the Altar Society and had been a faithful member of the church choir for 50 years. She had also taught CCD at Holy Rosary Church. She was an accomplished artist, and painted in watercolors, oils and pastels. She was a member of the Lima Art Club and Association. She was a past Republican Poll volunteer. She was very proud of her Irish heritage. She will be remembered as a very loving mother, and as a person who was always willing to help another person. She was very musical and enjoyed sharing her talents with her family and church. Her devotion to Holy Rosary Church was very important to her. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating.
