Description	:	Mrs. Elizabeth Holmes Laid to Rest Elizabeth Ann Ingle was born at Milwaukee, Wis. on October 27, 1849 and died at her home in Creighton on September 1, 1926 at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 4 days. She was united in marriage to Horace Holmes at Plainfield, Wis. on August 23, 1868. This union was blessed with three children, two daughters and one son, W.H. Read More	Mrs. Elizabeth Holmes Laid to Rest Elizabeth Ann Ingle was born at Milwaukee, Wis. on October 27, 1849 and died at her home in Creighton on September 1, 1926 at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 4 days. She was united in marriage to Horace Holmes at Plainfield, Wis. on August 23, 1868. This union was blessed with three children, two daughters and one son, W.H. Holmes, Edna Estella Brown and Anna, who passed away in the year of 1891. The deceased lived on a farm at Plainfield, Wis. until the year of 1888, when she came to Creighton and made her home in this city up to the time of her demise. The deceased was a woman, who acquired many friendships. The key note of her life was unselfishness in love and devotion. Her interest centered in her home life and a place is vacant in this home that never can be filled. She was a member of the Congregational church, Home Department of the Sunday School and the Ladies' Aid Society. Funeral services were held at the home on Friday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. DeBenham of Spencer, Nebr. and he spoke consoling words to the relatives and friends, who had gathered. The body was tenderly laid to rest in the Greenwood cemetery, beside her husband, who had gone before several years ago. Besides the children, the surviving relatives are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Clark, Stevens Point, Wis. and Mrs. Nellie Jane Anders of Werner, N.D and two brothers, James Ingle, Plainfield, Wis. and Irvin E Ingle, Greeley, Colo.
