Death was following a period of declining health. She was born February 3, 1953 at Barbour County, a daughter of the late Edward Lee and Dorothy Bell Ramsey Price. Death was following a period of declining health. She was born February 3, 1953 at Barbour County, a daughter of the late Edward Lee and Dorothy Bell Ramsey Price. She is survived by her husband; Jonas Friel of Bunker Hill, WV, one son; Douglas Brent Sinsel and wife April of Belington, one daughter; Carla Jo Lawrence of Belington, one brother; Tom Price and wife Jill of Belington, two sisters; Sandra Childers and husband Roger of Belington and Sue Phillips of Belington. Additional survivors include grandchildren; Gregory Gene Lawrence II, Samantha Jo Lawrence Smith, Tabitha June Lawrence Mullins, Mercedes "Maggie" Lawrence, Douglas Brent Sinsel II, Jacob Cody Sinsel, Josie Marie Sinsel, Ashton Blake Sinsel and Daxton Sinsel. Great-grandchildren surviving are Breyden Hedrick, Grayson Hedrick, Kennedy Smith, Levi Lawrence, Lincoln George, Henley Mullins, Harlow Mullins, Roman Lawrence, Zhane Small and Jacob Asher Wyatt Sinsel Sinsel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son; Chad Sinsel. Mrs. Friel attended the schools of Barbour County and was a 1971 graduate of the Philip Barbour High School. Ann was a former Paramedic with the Belington Emergency Squad and had served on the Board of Directors. Before becoming disabled she was employed at the Winchester VA Hospital in the accounts and receivables department. She was a member of the Sugar Creek United Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received from The Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg St in Belington on Wednesday May 18, 2022 from 6 – 9 PM and again on Thursday May 19, 2022 from 8 AM – 1 PM the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Jamie Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Sugar Creek Cemetery 2396 Morgantown Pike Belington, WV 26250. Condolences can be made to the family at www.talbottfuneralhome.com the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Price Friel.
