Description	:	Mrs. Haines Dies December 31 At Hospital Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday from the Reformed Presbyterian church in Lemmon for Mrs. Arthur Haines, pioneer resident of the Athboy community. Mrs. Haines died Dec. 31 at Five Counties hospital in Lemmon following a brief illness. Rev. Robert Wildeman, pastor of the church, will officiate at the rites. Elden Jensen will sing "How Great Thou Art" and "My Home Sweet Home." Mrs. Jensen will be at the organ. Elizabeth Anna Heller was born May 2, 1887 at Galena, Ill. She received her education and grew to young womanhood in East Dubuque, Ia {sic, Illinois}. She was married there July 20, 1911 to Arthur Haines. That year they came to West River country and settled in the Athboy community of western Corson county. For many years they played an active role in the development of that community. Mr. and Mrs. Haines moved to Lemmon in 1940. Here she was active in the Reformed Presbyterian church and Triple Link Rebekah lodge. Mr. Haines died August 6, 1949. In recent years Mrs. Haines has lived with her daughters, Mrs. Rollie Butler and Mrs. Donald Willey. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Willey and Mrs. Rollie (Ruth) Butler of Lemmon and Mrs. Douglas (Dora Lee) Fugitt of Kirkland, Wash.; a son, Lowell Haines of Portland, Ore., and 12 grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Miss Marie Haines in 1971. (source unknown)
