Description	:	Elizabeth Barbara, daughter of J.V. and Margaret Vance, was born at Ossian, Iowa, December 11, 1860, and grew to young womanhood in that vicinity. She was married to Morgan T. Cruzan on December 31st, 1879. Soon afterward they moved to Dak. Territory; two years later they moved on to Elmwood, Nebraska, where they resided until 1883. Then they moved to Valparaiso, Nebraska, residing there until thirty-five years ago when they moved to the vicinity of Nelson living at Fairbury four years and from there to Nelson, where they have made their home the rest of their life time. Mrs. Cruzan... Read More	Elizabeth Barbara, daughter of J.V. and Margaret Vance, was born at Ossian, Iowa, December 11, 1860, and grew to young womanhood in that vicinity. She was married to Morgan T. Cruzan on December 31st, 1879. Soon afterward they moved to Dak. Territory; two years later they moved on to Elmwood, Nebraska, where they resided until 1883. Then they moved to Valparaiso, Nebraska, residing there until thirty-five years ago when they moved to the vicinity of Nelson living at Fairbury four years and from there to Nelson, where they have made their home the rest of their life time. Mrs. Cruzan passed away at her home on September 19th, 1940, after several years of suffering, at the age of 79 years, 9 months, 8 days. Mr. Cruzan preceded her in death about four years ago. She is survived by her two children Mrs. Frank Ruttman of Nelson, and Dr. Jesse Cruzan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and four sisters, two residing in Iowa and two in South Dakota. Five grandchildren and eight great grand children also survive to mourn the departure of a faithful and loving grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Cruzan united the Christian Church at Elwood, Nebraska, and lived a consecrated life and reared their family in the faith. Funeral services were conducted at the Christian Church in Nelson on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, by the resident pastor C.M. Foust. CARD OF THANKS.
