Description	:	Daughter of Leander Pollock and Martha Jane Hetrick Pollock. As a young woman she was baptized at the Wahoo Congregational Church, and attended numerous country schools, culminating at the Swedeburg High School. On July 19, 1930, she was united in marriage to Floyd Aubrey Weed, at the David City Methodist Church. To this union was born three sons, William C. (Vernice), of Hoodsport, Wash., LeRoy P. On July 19, 1930, she was united in marriage to Floyd Aubrey Weed, at the David City Methodist Church. To this union was born three sons, William C. (Vernice), of Hoodsport, Wash., LeRoy P. (Eleanor), of Columbus, and Del K. (Karen), of Lincoln. The second of three daughters, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother and sisters, Evelyn Purser, and Thelma Voboril. After her father's death, her mother married Chris Nelson, of Arlington, to whom was born Chris, Edwin Maria and Christina, all deceased, and Gladys Forseyth, of Red Oak, Iowa. She also leaves to mourn seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Elizabeth was a loving, outgoing, active woman all her life, who loved homemaking, gardening and caring for her husband and children. Upon marriage, she transferred her church membership to the St. Edward Methodist Church, where she was a Charter member of The United Methodist Women, participating in many of the offices, church collections treasurer and taught church school for many years. Through the years, Elizabeth and Floyd engaged in many successful businesses, the last of which was farming. She was also active in Eastern Star, P.E.O., Girl Scouts, Beaver Valley Garden Club, The United Methodist-Presbyterian Church, and the St. Edward Senior Center. She was also a successful business woman, the owner/operator of Weeds Cleaning Village in St. Edward, and employed as a professional seamstress at Trudis' Bridal Shop in Albion. She leaves a profound legacy of parenting and community service.
