Description	:	"The Herald" (Piedmont, W.Va.), Thursday 12 July 1934: "The remains of Miss Elizabeth Brown, aged 66 years, who died last Thursday at her home in Baltimore, after a two years' illness, were brought here to the home of her niece, Mrs. Daniel Laffey, Westernport. Requiem Mass was sung Monday morning at St. Peter's Catholic Church by Rev. J. E. Gedra. Rev. Russell Phelan was in the sanctuary and delivered the sermon. Mrs. Edward Pendergast sang Millard's ‘Ave Maria' and ‘Mother at Your Feet Is Kneeling.' ... Those attending from out-of-town included Charles Brown, Harry Brown, Miss Anna Brown, Mrs. Leo Montgomery of Baltimore; Herman Laing, Mrs. Frances Shaffer and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lippold, of Cumberland; Mrs. Gertrude Pennington, Mr. and Mrs. Will Laffey and Miss Joann Dugan, of Keyser. Miss Brown was a daughter of the late Harmon Brown, superintendent of Black, Sheridan and Wilson Coal Co., Barton, and a sister of the late Mrs. James A. Welsh Sr., of Westernport. She lieaves two brothers, Charles and Harry Brown, and a sister, Miss Anna Brown, all of Baltimore. She was an aunt of James, John, Lloyd and Harry Welsh, of Westernport."
