Description	:	Emmetsburg Reporter May 29, 1956 Mrs. Wolfe, 80, Mrs. Murray's Mother Dies funeral services were held Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pocahontas for Mrs. Elizabeth Wolfe, 80, who died following a sudden heart attack early Friday morning. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. A resident of Pocahontas area for 62 years, Mrs. Wolfe was a long time member of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters. Her husband died many years ago. Wolfe Dies after Heart Attack on Friday Last rites were held Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock in Sacred Heart church for Mrs. Elizabeth Wolfe who died suddenly following a heart attack at her home early Friday morning. When she retired that evening she was apparently as well as usual but she called the members of her family before twelve o'clock and she died shortly thereafter. Rev. Fr. H. B. Karhoff officiated at the requiem Mass and the pall bearers were: Walter Branigan, Mike Naughton, Earl Oleson, Emmet Ammons, Francis Ryan and Joe Davis. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery beside her husband who died in 1926. Elizabeth C. O'Malley was the daughter of John H. and Annie O'Malley. She was born March 4, 1876 at Remington, Ind., where she grew to womanhood and completed her education for the teaching profession. she came to Pocahontas where she taught school until her marriage to John J. Wolfe Nov. 26, 1894. She resided in Pocahontas the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters and of the Sacred Heart Society of Sacred Heart Church. She is survived by six children: Mrs. Arnold (Clara) Murray of Emmetsburg; Mrs. Homer (Mae) Malcolm, Mrs. Sidney (Lorraine) Bondurant, Miss Cecil Wolfe and Frank Wolfe all of Pocahontas and Robert Wolfe of Trona, Calif.; and one grandson. One brother and one sister, Charles O'Malley and Mrs. James Henneberry of Olivia, Minn., also survive. Relatives from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. O'Malley and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Henneberry of Olivia, Minn., Francis Henneberry of Farmington, Minn., Mrs. Herman Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Henneberry and family of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Goodyear of Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. George Spence of Cherokee, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Bailey of Fonda. Contributed by Teresa Davis
