She was born Dec. 27, 1917, in Ottumwa to Charles and Julia Samuelson Wallace. She married Frances Bower on Dec. 20, 1936, in Lancaster, Mo. He died Aug. 13, 1944. She married Edward Haase in Kahoka, Mo. He died Aug. 16, 1970. She had worked at Woolworth's in Des Moines and as manager of Red Grill for 23 years. She was a member of Lutheran Church. She is survived by two brothers, Karl Ellis of California and Kenneth Ellis of Ottumwa; two sisters, Beverly Nicoletto of Indianola and Marilyn Kriner of Las Vegas, Nev. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and a brother. The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Dr. Ralph Andersen officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. today at Johnson Funeral Chapel with the family present from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be David, Todd and James Daniels, Che Connett and Larry Nicoletto. Memorials may be made to Diabetes Association.
