Death date is also given 14 May 1799 by some unsourced family trees, so questionable date. She is claimed by several researchers to have been the daughter of John Falkoner (Faulkner/Falkner/Falconer/Fortner), who moved from Halifax Co., Virginia, to Laurens Co., S.C. , and later to Kentucky. John Falconer deeded to Nathaniel Hall land in Laurens County probably at the time he left for Kentucky. He did not call him his son-in-law nor name his daughter Elizabeth Hall in... She is claimed by several researchers to have been the daughter of John Falkoner (Faulkner/Falkner/Falconer/Fortner), who moved from Halifax Co., Virginia, to Laurens Co., S.C. , and later to Kentucky. John Falconer deeded to Nathaniel Hall land in Laurens County probably at the time he left for Kentucky. He did not call him his son-in-law nor name his daughter Elizabeth Hall in his later will in Kentucky, likely because he had given them the property. The Halls went to Kentucky also but returned to South Carolina after a couple of years. Laurens County, S.C. They may be related but would not appear to the same John Falconer/Faulkner who died 1787 in Laurens Co., S.C. John Faulconer who married Joyce Craig is traced in an online family trees to William Faulkner and wife Elizabeth Filmer, daughter of Sir Edward Filmer 1566-1629 and Lady Elizabeth Argall 1570-1638. DNA EVIDENCE Two descendants of Elizabeth and Rev. Nathaniel Hall are DNA matches to six descendants of Sir Edward Filmer (1566-1629) and wife Lady Elizabeth Argall(1570-1638).
