Other known children per various census records Cyrus Wansitler b about 1858 , Armanda Wansitler b about 1867, Alice Wansitler b about 1870 Note - This we know - she was the wife of John R Wonsetler and lived in Fairfield Twp Columbiana. John R Wonsetler was alive after 1900 census in household. Death certificate states burial Columbiana, however not specific on place. Her name is not indexed in this cemetery. This does not mean she can not be here as member of her Glosser family, Wonsetler family and others are here. Burials prior to 1920 not well documented. Updated information great great grandson Dave Wonsetler on 6/20/2014 from: John and Elizabeth represented two challenges as I had been unable to determine their dates of death and place of burial. Now John R. Wonsetler is my last major challenge. John is listed as head of household at age 71 in the 1900 Federal Census. Elizabeth, son Jonathan P, his wife and 4 children were also living at the same address which I suspect to be the original Daniel Wonsetler property located approx. a mile south of Columbiana. Obviously John died sometime after this census and before Elizabeth's death in 1909. My guess he is buried in the Wonsetler family plot in Section 1 of the Columbiana Cemetery near Daniel as is Elizabeth. One addition to your notes would be a 5th child of John R. & Elizabeth – my Great Grandfather Charles Eli Wonsetler b. 4/19/1855 in Columbiana. The only reference to Eli in the Columbiana area is the 1960 census. By 1880 he can be found married and living in Bryan, OH which my ancestral home. Visiting a cemetery is not a chore as we are visiting the final resting place of real people and, in this case, people that gave me life.
