Died June 18, 1912, being at the time of her death 79 years, 7 months and 6 days of age. She united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church in her early married life. Since coming to Kansas, was united with the United Brethren church of which she remained a member until her death. She was the mother of ten children, two of who has preceded her to the world beyond. Five of them were present to attend her in her last sickness. She was a dutiful wife and a kind and loving mother. She was a great sufferer for many years, but endured it all with much patience and expressed herself many times as being ready and willing to go. We bless her memory for the kind and loving spirit she showed toward all. (x x x)
