Richard Becker officiating. Mrs. Obman passed away February 5, 1980, at the Manning General Hospital following a lingering illness. Music for the service was provided by soloist Leland Weitzel and congregational singing, with Roland Erickson as organist. Elizabeth Obman was born October 16, 1906, in Sac County, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Etta Poen Kies. She married Ferdinand Obman on February 12, 1929, at Wall Lake, Iowa, and they were the parents of two sons, Donald of Lake View and Darrell of Wall Lake. She is survived by her husband Ferdinand Obman of Carnarvon; two sons, Donald Obman of Lake View and Darrell Obman of Wall Lake; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Darrell Obman; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her step-mother, Mrs. Hertha Kies of Lake View; brothers Carl Kies of Odebolt and Raymond Kies of Lake View; and sisters Etta (Mrs. Alvin) Kowalke of Lake View, Margaret (Mrs. Lawrence) Stoelk of Breda, Ethel (Mrs. Harry) Martins of Defiance. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Rodney; and a brother, Harold. Interment was made in the Wall Lake Cemetery under the direction of Farber-Otteman Funeral Home of Wall Lake.
