Read More	marriage: 21 Apr 1891 Toledo, Tama Co, Iowa died: Otter Creek Twp, Tama Co, Iowa Mrs. Elizabeth Rebik, 62, Dies Suddenly at Home Death came suddenly to Mrs. Elizabeth Rebik, 62, at her home near Dupanda hall in Otter Creek township, southwest of Clutier, last Friday at 12:20 a.m. During the evening, she and her son, Wesley, had visited at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Novotny, near Traer. Her death, which came as a shock to her relatives and friends, was due to a heart attack. She was ill only a few minutes before she passed away. Funeral services were held Monday morning at the home and at Holy Trinity church, in charge of the Rev. Father F. X. Gorecki, with requiem high mass. A large crowd attended. Pall bearers were Anton Kubik, Frank Hayek, James Hala, James Wobeter, Joseph Rund, and Joseph Dvorak. Mrs. Rebik had been in failing health for about five years. However, she was able to be up and around doing her work regularly and making a pleasant home for her son, Wesley, who lived with her. Mrs. Rebik was a daughter of Martin and Rose Kvidera, who preceded her in death some years ago. She was born in Chicago on Feb. 1, 1874. In April, 1891, she was united in marriage to Anton Rebik. To this union four children were born. One son, Fred, died when 6 years old, and another son, Louis, died in March, 1934. Surviving children are Mrs. Helen Novotny, near Traer, and Wesley, at home. She also leaves one brother, James Kvidera, near Toledo, and nine grandchildren. Her husband died sixteen years ago. Mrs. Rebik was a devout Catholic. She was a member of the Holy Trinity church and of the Holy Rosary society. She made many sacrifices for her home and family.
