Description	:	Daughter of John H Fye and Mary Reynolds. She married William W Moore in Stephenson Co IL on 11/21/1872 and they first settled in Hamilton County, near Marquette, Nebraska the following year. At twelve years of age she moved with her parents to Freeport, Ill., where, in 1872, she married Wm. W. Moore, who survives her. Mr. and Mrs. Moore came to Nebraska in the spring of 1873, taking up a homestead in Hamilton County where at the time there were very few settlers. In 1894, they moved to this county, which as been their home since. Ten children - five sons, and five daughters - were born to them, all living and all of whom were present during their mother's last moments. The sons are - Charles, William Harvey, John (living at Hordville), and Walter; the daughters - Mrs. Myrtle Dixon (living at Marquette), Mrs. Ella Dixon, Mrs. Lillie Richards, and Misses Jessie and Ida, all except those noted living at home or in Central City. Funeral services were held Saturday from the house, Rev. R. J. McKenzie officiating, after which the body was interred in Richland Cemetery, south of Marquette. Mrs. Moore was formerly a member of the United Brethren Church at Marquette, but after removing to this county joined the Methodist Church of this city, of which she remained a consistent member until her death.
