Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. George McFadden will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. The rosary will be recited by the parish at 8 p.m. today and by the Catholic Daughters of America at 8:30 p.m. at the Luedtke Funeral Home. Mrs. Foley, the former Elizabeth Therens, was born Nov. 19, 1891, in Le Mars. She was married Feb. 14, 1912, in Le Mars. Mr. Foley died in 1939. She was a member of the Gold Star Mothers. Survivors include a son, William, and a daughter, Mrs. Hilton (Dorothy) Pecks, both of Le Mars; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. +++ Le Mars Sentinel, IA, April 1980 ELIZABETH FOLEY Mrs. William (Elizabeth) Foley, 88, a Le Mars native and lifetime resident, died Monday (March 31, 1980) at Plymouth Manor care center after a lengthy illness. She was born November 19, 1891, in Le Mars to Nicholas and Anna Fhruerisen Therens. Mrs. Foley was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, St. James church and guild and Gold Star Mothers. She was married Feb. 14, 1912, in Le Mars to William Foley, A son, Milton (Bud) Foley died while serving in the Navy in World War II. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1939 and by a daughter, Jean Schojt. The rosary will be received at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Luedtke funeral home in Le Mars and by the CDA at 8:30 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. James church with Rev. George McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Luedtke funeral home. Survivors are a son, William Foley, Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Hilton (Dorothy) Pecks, Le Mars; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
