Elizabeth Mary (LeBlanc) Palleschi April 3, 1928 - December 10, 2019 Obituary Elizabeth Mary (LeBlanc) Palleschi, Age 91, of Peabody, formerly of Swampscott, passed away on December 10, 2019 from complications associated with ALS. Born in Saugus, the daughter of Luke and Tessie (Doucet) LeBlanc, and grew up in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia with her five sisters and four brothers. She relocated back to the North Shore of Boston in 1944 where she met and married the love of her life, John Palleschi of Swampscott and had a wonderful marriage of 65 years until the passing of John in 2014. They raised 7 children together and now have 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is best known as a fantastic cook, particularly a great baker, whose delicious pies were top of the line. She is also well known for her patience in knitting and in creating artful handmade quilts and many framed puzzles. Betty is survived by her children: Lisa Moffett of Peabody, Angela and her husband, Ronald (Crusty) Hamilton of Lynn, Patricia Palleschi of Beverly, Carol Palleschi of Rochester NY, John Palleschi and his wife, Audrey Single, of Plymouth, Bill and his wife, Terre Palleschi of Brentwood NH, and Mark Palleschi of Beverly. She also leaves her grandchildren: Joshua, Ryan, and Craig Hamilton, John and Nicole Moffett, Zachary King, and Amanda, Caroline, Tony, and Michael Palleschi, and her great grandchildren: Kendall and Freya Hamilton, Jackson and Lila Moffett, Eli and Gianna Palleschi, and Sophia, Brayden, and Juliana LaPointe. Betty is also survived by her siblings, Robert LeBlanc and his wife Gert of Swampscott, Victor LeBlanc and his wife Pauline, and Aline Cormier of Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, and Jean Pascas of Ottawa, Ontario, and her sisters-in-law Yvonne Palleschi, Gloria Palleschi, and Esther Michaud. She also leaves many nieces and nephews both in the US and Canada. Betty was preceded in death by her siblings: Verna Shea, Esther Boudreau, Billy LeBlanc and Lawrence LeBlanc. Her Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00AM from the Solimine Funeral Home 67 Ocean Street (RTE1A), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott. Burial will follow in Swampscott Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 3:00PM-7:00PM.
