Palleschi, 87 years of Peabody, formerly of Swampscott, died on Thursday, February 13, 2014 after a brief illness. Husband of Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty (LeBlanc) Palleschi and the son of the late Angelo and Angelina (Modugnio) Palleschi. He was Born in Swampscott, John attended Swampscott Schools and was a veteran of the United States Navy Seabees during WWII. After his discharge, John returned to the North Shore and became known as Johnny the Milkman, owner and sole operator of Staples Dairy, serving many homes in Swampscott, Lynn, and Marblehead. He was later employed at West Lynn Creamery for 22 years and simultaneously at General Electric Company, West Lynn for 40 years. After his retirement from General Electric he continued to work for 10 more years at AccuLab in Danvers. John's greatest pride was Betty, his loving wife of 65 years and his family of 7 children, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was never at a loss for a good conversation. He could also be found cheering on the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics. Besides his wife, John is survived by his 7 children, Angela and her husband Crusty Hamilton of Lynn, John Palleschi and his wife Audrey of Shorewood, MN, Patricia Palleschi of Beverly, Carol Palleschi of Rochester, NY, Bill Palleschi and his wife Terre of Brentwood, NH, Mark Palleschi of Beverly and Lisa Moffett of Salem. He also leaves his 10 grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan and Craig Hamilton, Amanda, Caroline, Tony and Michael Palleschi, Zachary Palleschi King, John and Nicole Moffett and 7 great grandchildren, Kendal and Freya Hamilton, Eli and Gianna Palleschi, Sophia and Brayden LaPointe and Jackson Moffett. John is also survived by his sisters, Sue Beliveau of North Andover, Florence DePaolo of Peabody, Esther Michaud of Swampscott and sisters in law, Gloria Palleschi of Revere and Yvonne Palleschi of Lynn. He was the brother of the late Carl, Orlando "Pill", Rinaldo "Blackie", Michael and Charles Palleschi. John also leaves several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 9:00AM from the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 67 Ocean Street (Rte1A) Lynn followed by a funeral mass in Holy Family Church, Lynn at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Swampscott Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
