Read More	Mrs. Hulshizer Dies at Home in Ferguson Mrs. Elizabeth Hulshizer, a life-long resident of Marshall county, died at 3:20 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home in Ferguson. She had been in poor health for some time and had been confined to her bed one month. A complication of heart and kidney trouble caused her death. Mrs. Hulshizer was born Elizabeth M. Snider in Marshall county, Jan. 11, 1857, a daughter of Jacob and Lydia Snider. She was married to Andrew Hulshizer, at Ferguson, Aug 31, 1876. Mr. and Mrs. Hulshizer were the parents of six children. Mr. Hulshizer died March 31, 1929, and a son, Neil, preceded the mother in death. The surviving children are Arthur Hulshizer of Redland, Calif; Fred Hulshizer of Carpenter; and Rolland and Edward Hulshizer, and Mrs. Herman Propp, of Ferguson. Twenty-two grandchildren and four great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs Cora Evans, Monroe and Mrs. Iona Shettle, Chester, Mont., also survive Mrs. Hulshizer, Orville Hulshizer, a grandson of Ferguson, was reared from babyhood in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hulshizer. Mrs. Hulshizer was a member of the Christian church at Ferguson from where funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, in charge of Rev. F M. Strange. Burial will be in the Center school cemetery. This information came to me from my mother, Evelyn Hulsizer; I do believe that it came from The Marshalltown Times Republican, Marshalltown, Iowa.
