"Gone but not forgotten." Death has again visited the home of Sam Miller of Edgerton and taken from them the dear wife and mother that was the joy and pride of their home. She was 53 years of age and was the first of eleven children to be taken. For a number of years she had been a member of the Baptist church, and lived the life of a faithful christian all these years. By her friendly, conscientious nature she made friends with every one with whom she came in contact. She leaves a husband and five children, three girls and two boys, and had the satisfaction of seeing all of her children grown up to bright manhood and womanhood, and some one to care for them except Willie. But papa and he are left alone in this world to care for each other. The going out of her life is not only a sad thing for her family but to the entire community as well. Everything that loving hands could do was done for her, but all in vain. She is gone forever. An angel from heaven saw her perilous condition--flew to her rescue and on snowy wings, wafted her to that celestial seat beyond life's rugged vale, there to repose beneath the beautiful tree of life whose branches are sweetly fanned by the gentle breezes of Paradise. She sleeps, she sleeps! and never more, Will her footsteps fall by the old home door. Artie.
