She was born on Feb. 20, 1895 in Crimea, Russia to Peter and Margaret (Morast) Sailer. As a young girl she immigrated to the United States, and on Oct. 29, 1916 she married Adam Zeiszler at Krem. She was born on Feb. 20, 1895 in Crimea, Russia to Peter and Margaret (Morast) Sailer. As a young girl she immigrated to the United States, and on Oct. 29, 1916 she married Adam Zeiszler at Krem. The couple farmed north of Hazen until October 1944, when they semiretired and moved into Hazen. In September 1978 the couple entered the Baptist Home. Her husband died on April 1, 1980. Zeiszler lived at the Baptist Home until her death. Zeiszler is survived by one son, Rueben, Bismarck; one daughter, Mrs. Edgar (Helen) Gutknecht of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two infant sons, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 2, 1986 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hazen with the Rev. Glen Nicola and Rev. Hensel Hendrickson officiating. Interment was at Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hazen. Pallbearers were Larry, Zeiszler, Roland Froeschle, Helmuth Knecht, Ernest Oster, John Oster, and Leavard Sailer. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Anne Carlson Home for crippled children in Jamestown. Erdman Funeral Home of Hazen was in charge of the arrangements. ============================= Elizabeth SAILER born 20 February 1895 in Neusatz, Simpferopol, Crimea, South Russia was the daughter of Peter SAILER and Margaretha MORAST. Elizabeth at the age of 11 with her parents and siblings; Katherina, Rudolf, Helena, Jacob, George, Gottlieb, Regina, Rosina and Emelia, immigrated to America via the Port of Liverpool, England aboard the SS "Haverford" and arrived at the Port of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the 28th of May 1906. Elizabeth married Adam ZEISZLER on the 29th of October 1916 at Krem, Mercer County, North Dakota. This union was blessed with 4 children; Rueben, Helen and 2 infant sons.
